HBO Now is successful, but I would argue that it needs to be part of other OTT packages. Trying out the HBO service myself, I felt like it would be better off as a channel rather than by itself. And I think the company is realizing this; that would explain the Amazon deal.

Simplicity and compartmentalism has to be the only benefit of this so far. I am surprised that they didn't work out some kind of price reduction for Prime members. I am not very impressed with Amazon channels right now, and I am not sure what they would have to do to make it more appealing than using the apps that flank my Amazon app on the Roku.

Amazon has HBO and Cinemax
Great for business and a great idea that you added them apart of your program service which means more income and business that provides for the customers as well.

I think you're exactly right. And OTT aggregation leads to eventually the "flat rate service with everything" that we have all been saying is coming for a couple of years.
