Re: Netflix down a little
I may be the "exception" to the rule--I have had Amazon..and I finally decided to check out NetFlix--besides the "dual screen" and some of the original content, there is not much of a difference--Netflix has to innovate even further to stay relevant.

@mpouraryan did you give up Amazon's services when you adopted Netflix, or do you subscribe to both?

Re: Netflix down a little
I got hooked on Netflix when I didn't want to wait to get episodes of "Lost" on DVD, so liked their streaming option. I rarely watch it now though - and almost always for TV series or original content. Aside from documentaries, I don't remember the last time I watched an actual movie on there!

As I am working away assessing the aftermath of #Brexit (and needless to say it is a shock), Mandela is playing on the background on yes, Netflix :)      The World is waking up to a different World on all fronts folks.

Me too! I started watching Netflix when I wanted to watch the whole Office series. After that, however, I barely used it. I definitely think it's more geared towards watching shows rather than movies. In my opinion.

My friend is leaving for a trip for Europe next week and did not know that you could watch Amazon prime stuff offline. So you've improved her travel experience as well!

Re: Netflix down a little
Brexit hasn't fully sunk in yet for me - I've been having trouble wrapping my mind around the massive shifts in the global (and domestic) political landscapes and I'm realizing that at one point, citizens of countries with governments that we view as dictatorships or had coups took their country's stability for granted like we (or at least I) do. An uplifting documentary on Netflix sounds like a good idea right now!

Re: Netflix down a little
I think the fact that Amazon's not an option on my Apple TV makes it a less-appealing option for me. It takes too many extra steps or I have to watch on a significantly smaller screen (iPhone or fire vs. a TV), so I have to be really motivated to use if.
