Re: Skeptical
Now if they could use money to provide customer service training to their employees they would really be a great company.

Re: Skeptical
@DHagar:

Well Said. It becomes very confusing at times when I read such evolving trends, not sure whether to consider this constructive thinking about the extent of advancement in technology or the extent of disruption that youngsters are prone to get into. I want to say that if utilized wisely with balance it is going to be a winner, but i can not as youngsters are youngsters and they just like learning hard ways.

Re: Skeptical
@ms.akkineni, very true.  They represent a new and growing market, but they also represent a shifting market in that they are still making choices.

That is why Comcast is smart to create a platform that will enable them to provide bridges and networks to respond to evolving technology and user preferences.

Re: Skeptical
There are other service providers talking about digital transformation. And doing it. NTT Communications being one good example. Best to watch out for actual deeds, of course. But the animus against cable operators can sometimes blind the observer - or commentor - to real change.

Re: Skeptical
Yes I agree!

Comcast is a uge successful business, but in order to remain at the top they are going to have to expand. I think it's great that they finally realize how important digital transformation is and how much it can expand their company.

Re: Skeptical
@freehe - Ha ha! Comcast customer service is HORRIBLE! I am always amazed that they manage to do the business they do with their customer service. How can you be notorious for horrible customer service, and still get so many customers? Oh that's right, they kind of have a corner on the market and force people to use them if they want reliable internet.

Re: Skeptical
@DHagar, the younger crowd definitely are going to go for video, 4G and 5G. They want what makes their technology faster, more reliable. They are on the go and they rely on their technology to keep them connected. 5G sounds amazing, and it is most definitely going to be luring in the millenials.

Can't agree more. Customer Service is one critical area they must shift their focus into. They should reallize that step and effort would only help them to get better.
