A "preview of it" was evident in China at a recent interent Congress and some of the interesting moves in China which we must all pay special attention to.

Re: Digital Transformation
I am assuming by NK, you're referring to North Korea--since you brought it up, I understand from reporting I reviewed that they've been making a killing on BitCoins--this is as some of the "Political Moves" they continue to make--it was heartening to do see the US Sec of State embrace negotatiosn without preconditions.

Re: Digital Transformation
@mpouraryan yes North Korea and I forgot to add Iran to this mix... the sad reality it not the people in China/Russia/North Korea/Iran doing it or disagree with our way of life... it political leaders of this countries and propaganda machines fueling the problem... as to prevent people rebel inside this countries it always easy direct/push anger towards the West... phocus of misdirection... sad reality... why we could not live in peace...

Re: Digital Transformation
@Bayte:  Thank you for your thoughts--without getting into the politics of it, the views you've underlined is based on representations that is not true--because, for instance, iran has a very vibrant tech scene that has seen a number of very cool homegrown techs (some as good or even better than for instance Instagram).   When we strive for Digital Transformation (as is the essentail message here), part of it is harnessing the entire global spectre of capabilities to avoid the very things you've underscored in your comments.   Maybe 2018 will be that year--I remain optimistic.

Re: Digital Transformation
@mpouraryan  The this Google AI, AlphaZero, could master all of history's chess knowlege in four hours is somewhat scary. OK, so maybe it's just a matter of a chess game, but where is this leading? AI that becomes surgeons, teachers, etc ... This is just the beginning. And it's moving quickly!

We're already there--as I underscored this in this Grid I released to my personal Twitter Feed I created based on excerpts of an Article I read in Mother Jones:

Re: Digital Transformation
A friend of mine who is legitimately terrified of AI told me last night that they are starting to build AI to play other AI in chess because humans aren't cutting it anymore. I am so on the fence with if AI is good or bad for humanity, but hanging out with her always makes me think that Skynet is right around the corner.
