Report: SD-WAN to Top $2.9B by 2021
The SD-WAN is very succesful with the way its playing its role. I can actually believe this by 2021 it will be at $2.9B. This just shows the progress of the numbers they are submitting. This is very good with the technology and servers they produce.

Re: SD- WAN at $2.9 Billion by 2021
@freehe, we are really good at projecting, based on our perspective or limited knowledge. True market intelligence would involve better understanding the markets so we truly learn from the dynamics changes taking place; not just measuring the impact after the fact.

@clrmoney, Maybe. Time will tell the truth, if the numbers were accurate or inflated.

@dcawrey, I always wondered that too. Why not just round the numbers. Also, how did they arrive at this number? The numbers are inflated anyway so just inflate it to $3B.

Re: SD- WAN at $2.9 Billion by 2021
@DHagar, good point. How many times do you know where they actually go back and compare real market growth against the projections? Never. That is why you can't believe the numbers.

Re: SD- WAN at $2.9 Billion by 2021
@dcawrey, yes, I propose giving them "1" if they actually hit their target and it exceeds their predictions. Obviously, this goes to show my limited confidence in their ability to do that! But if they did calculate it properly, let's give them points!

Re: SD- WAN at $2.9 Billion by 2021
@DHagar Okay, so I would guess that means if the market hits $3b then they have done their job?
That's a great way to work the numbers in your favor!

Re: SD- WAN at $2.9 Billion by 2021
@dcawrey, ossibly they want to be able to say they beat the predictions? Also, how many times do you know where they actually go back and compare real market growth against the projections? Pretty safe odds!
Putting details aside, I do believe that SD-WAN will continue to grow and provide a valuable capability to enterprises.
