Re: TV Time
Absolutely, that is what needs to be the practice ideally. But the question is if at all that is feasible and possible. Knowing and seeing the younger generations and their phone habits i have slim hope.

Re: TV Time
I'm the same way! I always need background noise whether I'm on my phone or laptop. If it's not television, I put some music on.

Re: TV Time
Yes, me too! I'm trying not to be on my phone as much when I'm around other people. I've just become so accustomed to it.

@Michelle:

That is so nostalgic...

That mobility is what is making us inseperable with devices. Sometimes I can't think myslef if this isgood or bad trend.

Re: TV Time
@ms.a I remember the old days where the family computer was in another room, tied to a desk by phone line. We live in different times with laptops and broadband.

Re: TV Time
This happens very rarely with me. Watching a sport could be on eof the things that may demand my full attention, if that is my favorite game.

Re: TV Time
Yes, I have witnessed so many people doing this and am not good fan of such situations. I am not very engaged with my phone myself and probably that is why I am not in favor of that.

Re: TV Time
@Michelle:

Exactly i feel the same way. Sometimes i get amazed thinking about all this chnaged. There is no single time that I watch TV without doing something in my computer. I feel as if time is wasted just watching something while we can still watch the show while getting something else done at the same time. So strange to think about but very real...

Re: TV Time
@ms.a I tend to work on my laptop when watching shows I kinda like, but don't care to follow closely. I do that because it feels like a better use of time, rather than just watching a show I don't really care about. Do you feel the same way?
