Yes definitely! Knowing someone helps get you through the door without a doubt! And you're right networking and communication are key.

@dlr5288 this days it like you must know someone in the field just to get your foot in the door as this is only way it seems... as too much competition... plus not many Co. hiring... but this is when you social skills come handy as this days Networking is a King... trust me :) as the more people you know the better chances you get... probability in the numbers..
