8G
@dchampagne70, good point. 8G for smartphones. I am so happy! I am always complaining that there is not enough data on smartphones. Glad to know that know users will have more space.
I agree, laptops even the lightest ones can be cumbersome when traveling or going to meetings. Having the ability to use your smartphones to do everything that you do on your laptop would be awesome.

Re: Paving the way for a digital world
@Ariella, your daughters are wise. I realized that too. I don't do downloads. I also don't install the updates and upgrades as soon as they are available. I wait several months. I have an iPhone and my brother does too. He has not downloaded upgrades for the past 2 years.
It would be great if updates would remember all the apps you purchased and downloaded and copy them over when installing the updates just like software updates and patches when new versions are installed on a desktop.
Unfortnately, with iPhones everything gets wiped out. That's why I don't purchase any apps that way I don't have to constantly install apps each time a new updates is available. Apple needs to do a better job of installing updates.

Yes, some updates will completely ruin my app or make my iphone go slower. I don't update right away either, even though the red notifications annoy me to no end!

Re: 8G
Me too! I'm always complaining that I never have enough data. But I'm also sharing my phone data with a few people, so that could be it.
Re: 8G
There you go...You know the reason.
I share famiy plan and I am the person that uses least data. But that doesn't mean that we use up the quota with no issues.
Re: Paving the way for a digital world
I always have challenges with getting updates. Something or the other has to happen on my phone with every update. Performance is one thing that gets impacted. Even postponing the updates also doesn't seem to work long time as someting pr the other keeps happening on the phone and you end up restarting, which is no fun either.

Re: 8G
Yeah at first I always thought that my phone was the one using up all the data! As it turns out it was my sister...

Re: Paving the way for a digital world
Yeah at first updating my apps brings speed issues, but then they usually come out with a new update shortly after that fixing the problem.

@dlr5288:
This reminds me of my story where that would be my teenage son.

@dlr5288:
You are right about the fix. At times these updates and fixes become little too crazy and not so easy to manage.
