OSS/BSS needs to get out of the back office and be used more by marketing to develop new offers, build new business models. The red haired stephchild of tech, can deliver so much more to marketing / product development in operators, but there needs to be a culture change. As you say. the only time OSS/ BSS gets noticed is when something goes wrong. Red haired kid needs to get out more. Everything is software.
