Break out the sports clichés: It's time for the last Telco Transformation caption contest of 2016.
Here's hoping that you give the contest 110%, play the cards you've been dealt and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
While we previously mulled over going with a different format for the monthly Telco Transformation contest, the recently proposed mergers seemed too good to pass up. (See Merger Musings: TW + AT&T = ? and CL Strikes Deal to Buy Level 3 for $34B.)
Since this is a winner take all, do-or-die caption contest, there will only be one winner. That one winner will be the recipient of a $200 Amazon gift card. The losers will need to take a hard look at themselves in a mirror, know that they beat themselves, that the winner wanted it more and that they failed at gut-check time.
The winner will be determined by mano a mano via voting in the comment section of this blog. The caption with the most votes, and you can only vote once, will take home the trophy, er, gift card. Feel free to enter as many times as you would like, but really, let's take it one caption at a time here, stay focused and play within ourselves.
The contest ends at midnight on Nov. 30. Voting closes at midnight ET on Dec. 17. At the end of the day, it is what it is.
*Terms and conditions apply. (See PROMOTIONAL TERMS FOR NOVEMBER TELCO TRANSFORMATION CAPTION CONTEST.)
