Ericcsson
As someone who has always enjoyed Ericsson products, it's good to see they are turning a profit. It seems right now like they addressed the issues they were having successfully and have saved themselves from ruin. A feat not all that easily accomplished for many companies anymore. I think the focus on R&D is a great plan, and certainly part of their success at turning around. I hope they can keep on this path.

Ericsson Profitability
I like Ericsson and what they have to offer and I think that it is wonderful that they are progressing a lot in revenue so whatever is working for them to keep striving for the best.

Re: Ericsson Profitability

@clrmoney I haven't heard anything about Ericcson in the news lately, and wondered whether the company was still in existence. I've had Ericcson devices in the past that were reliable. I just think cutting staff to show it is making more revenue is not necessarily a recipe for success. Hopefully its foray into digital and R&D will put it back above the radar.

Re: Ericsson Profitability
@srufolo1 - I have to agree with this assessment. As reliable as they have been in the past, they really aren't out there making their name known and all kinds of technological advances to show off as of late. And cutting staff rarely seems to be a companies show of confidence for the future. I guess time will tell, but I'm not sure a betting man would put any money on their success.

Re: Ericsson Profitability
@elizabethv  Well if they think that's where the fat is that has to be cut, then so be it. Maybe there's a lot of dead wood there and it would be wise for them to invest in people that could turn the company around. I hope so, for their sake. Like you said, time will tell.
