Google on Automation
I'm not surprised because google to me was already doing things like that but know I sure it will be more of this automation to make it wasier for them as a company. Automation can be good and beneficial and it may also be a also but we'll see in the long run.

Re: Google on Automation
I agree. It seems like a natural progression. Network automation can be very beneficial. I am really curious to see how this works in production.

Re: Google on Automation
@Michelle interesting point... from what I seen in producting on small scale but for lage big automated factory you never know as with technology... not everyting work 100%...
Re: Google on Automation
I share the same excitemnet to see what would be upcoming in this front. It certainly sound very promising and can't wait to see how this is gong to shape up in real time.

@batye:
I am sure all will have their own share of apprehensions besides the excitement. It is not practical to expect 100% in first cut. But certainly it will get there eventually.

Re: Google on Automation
Let's see what happens with it as the transformation does in fact occur. What I am curious about is what Google is doing to try and elevate their engagement in the home incorporating Rasperry PI. Hopefully the community is able to chime in.

Re: Google on Automation
Just because it does not work does not 100% does not mean that we can't try it--admittedly it gets tougher as the transformation continues.

Google's New Assistant
Google has a history of innovation in things in general. I wouldn't be surprised to see something more come from this later as they get into it.

Network Strain
Network strain has always been a problem. I am surprised the problem has not been solved before now. As long as companies develop more devices, more features and more ways to connect, consumer usage will increase. This issue should have been resolved a long time ago.
Google is building a "Google Assistant for Networking" tool that relies on intent-based networking technologies to automate some of the processes used in managing data centers and other infrastructure. Vijoy Pandey, Google's head of engineering for data centers and backbone networks, said at MPLS, SDN and NFV World Congress 2018 in Paris that around a quarter of Internet traffic now originates from Google, and the humans are what's stressing the network the most.

Re: Google on Automation
@clrmoney, I agree. Google has the tools, money and resources to embark on this initiative unlike some startup companies who do not have that advantage.
