Re: Markets Gain From Digital Transformation
@Michelle, that just goes to show how true transformation starts with a different mindset and new strategies to put in context the steps we take and the markets we are creating.  The old linear thinking only takes us to the same spots - only with greater speed!

If we are going to get new values we have to learn, discover, innovate, and master new processes that will not just transact what we have always done, but transform us to new and better values.

Actually, I believe I have seen this in action on a small scale. Minimal returns on investment stalled progress. It was a bit chaotic...

@Michelle, that is what you get when you have tactics being executed with greater power without aligning or changing strategies!

Re: Markets Gain From Digital Transformation
@Michelle, thanks!  That is why we need "intelligence" designing and implementing the technology.  If not, all we end up with is chaos on an expedited processing level.

This truly is a different roadmap if we are going to have real transformation.

You perfectly describe what's going on. There's a lot going on in enterprise these days. Connecting all the right parts is becoming increasingly complex.

And I feel like a lot more jobs are moving towards the digital way. It’ll only be a matter of time before everything has gone completely digital.

@mpouraryan, you bet!  It is not an either/or market - what is developing is commoditization with customized value.  So companies are working in dual modes.  This is Moore's Law 2.0 - where companies are facing multiple stages and having to evolve and deal with the markets and competitive positions they hold and serve.

@Shaunn, very true!  Otherwise you end up with a patchwork design, more so than a design for functions, alignment, compatibility, and performance.  Equipment will increasingly become a competitive advantage.
