@faryl Yes, that happens to me also. But it could be because you looked up something about it online, or something similar to it, before you bought it at the store.

I wasn’t super freaked out until I started seeing ads for the exact same thing as an impulse buy that I’d bought in an actual store. (So there was no online history for it!)

That’s definitely something that I’m excited for. It’ll be interesting to see how things develope and how long it will take to go totally digital.

@faryl Those targeted ads also kind of freak me out, but sometimes they actually are useful because they advertise the very thing I needed or was looking for, so it made it convenient.

@Ariella yes, in Canada I saw even political figures play hand in hand with big Co. during big P.R./promo/donations using it as photo op.... ethical border line...  when I did volunteer as street support to help less fortunate, during my youth days I avoid photo's or braggin about  it... but it just me :)
