Re: TV & Video
I agree! It is exciting and I guess we must all move forward and get used to the change. Overall I think it’ll be a good thing!

Re: TV & Video
@mpouraryan - Definitely! And how exciting! The newer commercials for Hulu are pretty exciting too. They are using Anna Kendrick and the commercials are pretty creative. And they talk about having the ability to live stream news and sports. So if nothing else, it's pretty obvious both companies are staying competitive with one another.

Re: TV & Video
I hope you agree that Amazon PrimeTV has come of age and that's the key point.   You are representative of all who are, in appears, shying away from sports/etc.

Re: TV & Video
@mpouraryan - Without a doubt. Because I wouldn't have expected Amazon to have been the one to make that step, at least not as one of the first to do so. I guess the targeted advertising must be working then. Because to be fair, even if I'd known about it, I wouldn't have watched it. I couldn't even come close to remembering the last time I watched a parade on television, or anywhere else.

Re: TV & Video
I saw it featured prominently--the point, I hope you agree is, that the revolution is continuing on a massive scale and their "mainstream" players are playing catch up and the question is who will be left standing?

Re: TV & Video
@mpouraryan - Wow! I don't know how I missed that Amazon was live streaming the Rose Parade. How did that go? Were there any glitches that you know of? I guess I've never been one to watch the Rose Parade no matter how it was aired. Though I am a pretty big fan of Amazon. I didn't see any advertising. Maybe I wasn't the target demographic.

Re: TV & Video
When Amazon live streamed the Rose Parade, I knew that things have changed--whether we like it or not.  The question for us is how we embrace it.  It is exciting--but at the same time ever so challenging :)

I guess I’m just worried about things changing for the worst. But, by all means, if it helps or changes things in a positive direction then I’m all in!

Re: TV & Video
@srufolo1 - I thought it was important to come back to this. Since it's opening back up and the Senate is just one vote away from repealing it and twenty states have sued the FCC over the new regulations. I think at least a few people in government realized that allowing the regulation to continue as is was hazardous to their careers. As well they should have.
