Re: AT&T Smart City Vision
Yeah excellent point! I just want to leave a life behind that my future family is proud of. And of course for them to grow into good people.

Re: AT&T Smart City Vision
Great point. I would want to leave behind a good world to my children. It’s great to have all these new technologies at our fingertips (and most definitely technologies will become more and more advanced once I’m gone) but I would like to leave my children the best I could.

That’s super true and important. We have to remember that one day we’ll be gone and the things and advances we leave behind will be in our children’s hands.

Re: AT&T Smart City Vision
<<AT&T is taking on a major part in advancing the First Responder Network Authority under the name FirstNet. This is set out to be the first high-speed, nationwide wireless broadband network dedicated to public safety. AT&T was selected to build and manage the network and is also is also putting in a $40 billion investment over the life of the project, while the government is to put in $6.5 billion over the first five years. That will drive a lot of smart city use cases.>> I have been following the progress of this project for four years now. It was conceived because of the need of reliable bandwidth that a dedicated network can ensure. Now that 5G is on the scene with its enormous bandwidth, what is the relevance of this project?

Good points! It’s important to fully understand what we’re putting out into the world. Not only for the consumers, but if something was to go wrong we have to understand how to fix it.

Re: AT&T Smart City Vision
@Bayte:  Thanks for your thoughts on it--can you expand on what you mean by understanding?  As I look forward to your thoughts on it, please note that as we transform, things are becoming a lot easier in every respect because no one "thinks" or "cares" about the backend as long as they achieve what they desire (whether it is "one click shopping " (Amazon) etc.
