Re: Recommendations and Personal Guides
We're already there, in my view--My Amazon FireTV Stick already lays out recommendations for all that I watch or listen to--I don't remember if you've checked it out--if not, worth the investment-should be able to have some decent deals on Cyber Monday!! :)

Re: Recommendations and Personal Guides
I really hope AI can help with discovery. I spend way too much time trying to find something I want to watch. There aren't enough genres, as in they aren't specific enough. And what if I only have a certain amount of time? These are things I think AI could really help out with.

Re: Recommendations and Personal Guides
No one is immune--in today's WSJ, for instance, Greg IP had a column asking the question whether Radiologists must be worried--and how AI may or may not play in role.   Will humans matter--that's the ultimate question, isn't it?

I'm not sure that it ever ends, it will just continue to change.

Where will it all end, though?   That's the key driving force here.....

Especially when you have bandwidth taken up by home automation devices and then a family of four are all streaming on separate devices on top of that.

I selected "recommendations and personalized guides".VR will use IoT to help customized the viewinge experience for VR users. It can provide users with recommended VR content and personalized guides to show what it available to watch in the VR device.

Re: "Improve"
Network and Bandwidth I slected as capex effeciency vs revenue will be key. You cannot build a network if you dont uderstand demand more effcienctly which then allows you to do your ZBB on this new insight more effectlly. Result is increase revenue and margin play.

Re: Recommendations and Personal Guides
I suppose my initial thought went to what would be most important for customer service reasons, but then again network and bandwidth management are not quite as obvious, but still important from a customer service stand point. Customers wouldn't use any service that made them sit and stare at a non-functioning screen.  This is the reason for the lack of poopularity of Century Link.

Re: Recommendations and Personal Guides
Recomendations are a lot more fun than network and bandwidth management, but the latter is crucial going forward with the increasing amounts of video on networks and in transit.
