And when I first started driving, about 20 years ago, the general rule - in Phoenix, was that you could get just about anywhere in 30 minutes. Even a drive from West Phoenix to East Tempe/Chandler, so long as it wasn't rush hour, would take about 30 minutes. You would never hit anything like rush hour traffic, unless there was an accident. In Denver, traffic is TERRIBLE. Almost all the time. There are even specific spots where you can just about guarantee, no matter what time of day, you're going to hit traffic. You can be in a gridlock at 11 PM. Now I've been told since I've moved out of Phoenix, that traffic is bad there too. But when I go back and visit, I still haven't really experienced what I experience in Denver. So smart cities, that could control the lights a little better, that could maybe spread traffic out more to prevent gridlocks. I'm all for it. I'm a paranoid person, but not generally a 1984 paranoia kind of paranoid. But there will be a lot to offer from them as times goes on.
