Re: AT&T Embraces AI
@dlr5288, @DHagar:

I will join you both in hoping high for AT&T. With improved customer service and enhanced security, they have long way into future. That step alone is having the best cake with best icing on the top, desired combination that industry is struggling with.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
@DHagar:

Very true and practical facts that play a role in switching companies. Ofcourse not to ignore the pricing plays a good role as well. In some cases for new comers, price could be one of the key weighing factors even though they come with expanded and improved services. Those only play a role once the company is stood in the market. Till that point average consumer only would think 'company XYZ is just hitting the market but with a heavier price tag'.

Exactly. And I know for me I’m always worrying about security and my things getting into the wrong hands. Personal information is being sent all over the place these days.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
@dir5288, cyber security is at the top of most CEO's list today.  This is a wide open area that they are recognizing requires new solutions.  AT&T's ability to address this will be a key to the confidence in their open source design.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
Yes! Being able to get a handle on security and moving fast past the competition is crucial. Especially with AT&T customers (and non) seeing it all happen.

@dir5288, very true!  That is what will make the telecommunications trusted networks and recognize the value of sharing information; when they can control the security aspects.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
@ms.akkineni, very much so.  Plus there is the cost of switching issue, which takes too much time and costs to shift to a new system that keeps people engaged with the companies they currently have services with.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
Agreed. I feel like AT&T has come such a long way and if they keep going the way they’re going with customer service, they will most definitely be leading the way into the future.

And that’s what I think is so important for companies. To focus on security will definitely strengthen the consumer/business relationship.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
@DHagar:

Very good point about relyting on trusted sources. In general people get very interested about something new by someone new in industry. But when the time comes to pick a service by a company people always tend to lean to a trusted company. That's where the new companies struggle till they make a name in the market.
