Re: AT&T Embraces AI
@dlr528:

I believe At&T is good at that. They keep their customers at good standing in terms of communications. Hence i would be very optimistic about any new attempts.

Innovation
AT&T continues to provide they are a technology leader. Moving into AI helps the company remain competitive and capture a new market share. They have a long way to go since they didn't enter the market during the beginning but Acumos is a good start.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
@batye, Wow that is not good. It defeats that purpose of using AI. Companies will have to work hard to test AI technology. They will also have to create real-world scenarios during tesing before they deploy the services to the public.

Partnership
It is great that AT&T is partnership with Linux. You can do more through collaboration that you can do alone. More companies need to collaborate.  Making their technology more accessible to developers is great.

It is great to hear that AT&T has the ability to predict failures and solve network degration problems. I wonder if this is for businesses only or also for residential customers. It seems businesses get better services than residential customers.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
@dir5288, that is definitely true.  Particularly with the increased emphasis and growing concerns on security, companies are increasingly going to rely on "trusted sources" and the skills to ensure that your risks are minimized.

@dir5288, the key to competition today!  If you are the trailblazer you are able to set the new rules for competition and stand the best opportunity to reap the ROI, as opposed to the followers who have to "ante up" just to stay in the game, and even then get a lesser ROI.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
Good point! And if it all works out they will be way ahead of the game and other businesses will have to follow suit. And like you said AT&T will be the trailblazer.

Re: AT&T Embraces AI
Exactly! As long as there is good communication between AT&T and their consumers, then trying something new is definitely a positive.
