@dcawrey - For sure, before standardization NFV was just an idea, which can have varying interpretation. Now it's a blueprint for action.

All of these software pieces of the future network need to be able to properly communicate with one another. This is why standardization is important. Sure, it can be boring. But it's going to be really important for the future of NFV.

New ETSI Specs
This will really help out a lot of companies looking to adopt NFV. Standardization leads to standard promblems which lead to standard solutions, which are hard to come by with NFV right now.
