Re: Security
That's very true! I wonder why there isn't a bigger market for security. Security will always need to be developed further.

Re: Give and Take
@afwriter, I agree. During the strategic planning or implementation plan companies should have factored in training employees to develop this skillset. Now they are stuck with having jobs that cannot be filled. It will take time to train college students and existing employees. There is no timetable when training centers and college with develop programs to offer this training.

Skills Set
All of these skill sets are greatly needed but how do companies hire these skillset. The only fields that are offered in college are security and AI. How can companies hire the skillset if they don't want to train existing employees.

Security
I wonder why there is not a push to encourage college students and existing professionals into the Security field when it is obvious that there is a huge demand for skill sets. Security is needed in every industry.

Re: Give and Take
Another hyped technology, another security concern.

I know there's a future in the Internet of things. However, I also expect security problems to develop. Get your popcorn ready.

Re: Give and Take
I agree. Technology is changing rapidly and we can't keep up with ourselves to fill all the open positions. It seems like a good problem to have, but will take time to fix.

Give and Take
I think the fact that they can't find enough employees is interesting. It goes to show that while our advancing technology, even IoT, is eliminating some jobs it is creating others. Unfortunately, in this case, it seems to be creating them faster than they can be filled.

Security Concerns for IOT
IOT/Internet of Things having security issues then they should find a solution to stop it like using some advanced software or something to make things better in a way.

Security Ownership a Concern
With no one really taking ownership of security, it's a no wonder there are still so many attacks. Also, the shortage of big data and analytics employees shows there is a lack of training. With such a demand for these employees, it's probably a job that pays well and would be a great career path for younger people getting out of college but remain clueless as to what they want to do.
