Re: Red Hat Security for SD-WAN
@freehe, thanks!  It does require new applications and designs, including the layered approach to truly build barriers to security breaches.

@DHagar. Good points. It is great that decrypting and re-encrypting can be done. It seems that the challenges to decrypt and re-encrypt are huge but still need to be implemented.

Re: Red Hat Security for SD-WAN
@clrmoney, I agree. They should have security. At least they are talking about it. Many companies don't even talk about it. It is a first step.

Security
Security is always the last thing companies think about when implementing a new technology which is unfortunate. It seems as though SD-WAN has some benefits but have major security issues which will not be addressed any time soon.

Re: Red Hat Security for SD-WAN
@clrmoney, it does present a new set of issues to build the layers of security recommended here - excellent vision.

In addition to encrytion, recognizing and changing the access structure (ie role-based access, etc.) puts together a complete system of increased protections and security.

It makes sense that new technology is going to open the doors to new vulnerabilities.

Red Hat Security for SD-WAN
The encryption and decryption is something interesting for SD-WAN. There may have to use highly advanced programming languagesd or codes to protect and keep things secure. They should have security and I hope it works out.
