Flexibility
To me, flexibility makes the most sense. Not all customers are going to want/demand/need/use the same services. Why cement yourself into a business model that will exclude even part of the market? For obvious reasons you can't make every package completely personal, but allowing for the most customization feasible just makes good business sense.

Re: Flexibility
@elizabethtv. Good point. As a consumer I want flexible options when purchashing a service. Customers that don't offer flexible options lose consumers and market share.

Re: Flexibility
I agree. I think flexibility can go towards being affordable too, since it allows changing subscriptions to go along with your current usage level/needs.

Re: Flexibility
Definitely! Being able to be flexible, not only with the consumers, but with the prices as well is very important.

Re: Flexibility
It definitely is a mobile world these days. Even my mom, reluctantly, switched over to a smart phone. She does most of her things on her phone now.

Definitely. I guess we’ll have to wait and just see how it all plays out in the end.

Balancing
I chose the "Balancing traditional pay-TV services with emerging OTT service delivery". However I do feel that offering flexible pricing packages for consumers is also important. I guess that's why both options have the same response at 33%.

Re: Balancing
OTT is the future, so balanicing the incumbent services with the services that are poised to take off seems to make sense... until there's another fad to chase.

Customer Service
I had to vote customer service because without customers nothing else matters.

Re: Customer Service
If I was able to vote (and for some reason I couldn't), I would have been in the "balance' category..as this is an implicit acceptance of customers as well--catering to the entire spectre of needs!!

Service to the customer
A company with good customer service is likely to make changes to their service based on how well it goes with their users. Blockbuster had a streaming service AND through the mail service to compete with Netflix before going belly up, but neither one worked was serviced very well. Even if it's not the key to the video kingdom, it's at least the ring that holds the key along with other important things.

Re: Service to the customer
@Shaunn interesting point, but the way Blockbuster did everything does remind me of the Sears Canada and or Starbucks.com stores.. just too many errors while trying to use old model approach... without thinking using new way/technology - right way...
