From Zero to 100K
Going from 0 to 100,000 subscribers in three years is quite ambitious. It shows how great the demand is for service in the island countries Digicel serves.

Digicel 100K
Digicel picked up speed fast to get to as many homes as possible and that's great because when you have something that someone likes or need then you will get a lot of exposure.

Re: From Zero to 100K
Very true, srufolo1. John mentioned that it was a broadcast only market when they launched, so they were able to really differentiatie their offering with HDTV, on-demand and multi-screen offers from the get-go. And as a mobile operator, there are opportunities to link TV content/services with the mobile phone once your platform is sorted.

batye - yes, we'll have to see. They do have a robust platform and a high-bandwidth network, so they are well positioned. And of course, demand for video continues to grow very sharply.

Any platform that ignores Video does so at their peril. There is a realization of this at the startup I work for, the Daily Outsider, as we have a "video pod" on live feed of Sky News that visitors can listen to.....

Thanks @Bayte for the thoughts and an acknowledgment of the true realities out there right now. It is the back-end that is critical--how we leverage it is key.
