Re: Decisions
I agree. It's all up to the managers or people who are in charge. One wrong move can change a lot about a company.

NTT Lays Claim to Biggest SD-WAN Footprint
NTT's cloud-based SD-WAN services that can connect offices globally through applications such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud is a great offering. This company must be giving AT&T a lot of competition.

I think it is in their best monetary interest to do that, but it is also easier said than done.

Let's hope they're forward-thinking enough in order to be able to actually make it happen--I wouldn't hold my breath right now, though....

Re: NTT SD-WAN Footprint
@mpouraryan, I was thinking the same thing. U.S. companies should be scheduling a tour at NTT to obtain lessons learned so they can replicate it at their specific enterprise. We will  just have to wait and see hope U.S. companies will respond.

Re: NTT SD-WAN Footprint
@clrmoney. I agree. It is a great merger. I can't believe they have been working on this for ten years. That is truly amazing. I wonder what else they are working on. I hope U.S. companies take note and follow suit.

Customers can use cloud and real-time analytics, prioritize and re-route traffic, and customers can use a local ISP and get 24/7 monitoring and support. All U.S. companies need this.

I would also like to know the SD-WAN providers NTT is using.

Decisions
Anything that can help managers make better decisions is great because in some instances poor decisions are made that have a rippling effect on an enterprise. Now with enterprises using SD-WAN managers can be better informed decisions at a much quicker rate and save money.

Being able to report a problem in 60 seconds is amazing. I wish U.S. companies had this feature. This would save them a lot of money on customer service and technical support.

NTT is a Leader
Wow. This is exciting. Providing SD-WAN to 190 countries and have 100% software-defined network. This is a huge accomplishment.

I wonder if this will be the trend where companies keep quiet about their R&D and what they are working on and then make a huge announcement like NTT did and wipe out all the competition.

...this is quite exciting--I wonder what the key players in the US's response will be to this as they continue to figure out a way to truly stay relevant.

NTT SD-WAN Footprint
NTT has a lot to offer for SD-WAN so them being together is great because SD-WAN has networking etc. and NTT has done business with many.
