Education
Milllions and probably billions of people have been educated quite well without using VR. Many millionnaires attended public schools and received an education.

I don't believe students need VR to get an education. VR is a nice-to-have but there are many other issues that need to be addressed with students besides VR, some students are homeless, some have undetected learning disabilities, some are being bullied, some live in dysfunctional homes. They basic issues should be addressed first and money should be spend on these issues which will make it easier to students to learn and retain the information taught versus using VR.

Re: New things for Virtual Reality
@elizabethv I'd love to see it adapted to training new drivers without the real life danger of being out in traffic with real cars and real people.

Re: New things for Virtual Reality
I think VR technology for schools is an excellent idea! Whatever can increase kids interest in education is something I believe in. And if money is the problem they might consider taking a route that Apple took. It seems to have worked well for them.

Re: New things for Virtual Reality
<because the world is becoming a place that we step inside. It's no longer flat. Marketing is no longer flat. Content marketing is no longer flat. It's immersive.?

I like the imagery in this description, though she seems to take it for granted that when we say "world," we mean the digital one. The actual world has always been 3D and immersive.

New things for Virtual Reality
I liked how they talked about WEbVR for virtual reality and they said it can be use on a Facebook 360 video or Youtube 360 Video.
