Re: Centurylink more virtual as times goes on.
@JohnBarnes, well very true.  But they also say that "Luck is preparation for opportunity", so maybe there is some design and skill as well.  But I do believe that applications and the way people adopt to technology can be as much a part of the solution as the design; particularly in these transformational time periods.

Re: Centurylink more virtual as times goes on.
DHagar,

On the luck and opportunity question, I usually bear in mind the view of Mr. Dooley (Finley Peter Dunne's wonderful creation; maybe the greatest character in all of American political satire. For nonAmericans or Americans whose literary education missed him, the fictional Mr. Dooley was an Irish bartender in Chicago; the heyday of FPD's humor column was about 1890-1900, i.e. one of those other times when American politics was dominated by people who thought the market would fix everything because it had made them rich):

@JohnBarnes, Oh that IS good!

Recently it has been stated that education is the new capital asset for individuals.  I hope we take that message to heart and expand the understanding that result is from what we do, not just what we desire!

CenturyLink on Simplifying the Path to Virtualization
This a great article becaus evirtualization is the next great generation and the greatest thing happening. I also think if they put more effort in the virt they will be even more popular with the technology they have. So i would imagine with the technology they have now it will be awsome to see what they have in the future with the specs and gigs then.
