Re: Containers Scale
When you see various organizations talk about the benefits of open source, I think they also see containers as an important part of that.

What containers can provide in an open environment is the ability to better secure those systems. Advocates of closed platforms oftent discuss security issues. But I think containers are a real positive to open source security.

Containers
I think containers would provid great benefits in certain technologies such as IT, healthcare, manufacturing, telecom, and other industries that have interrelated components/parts that need to work together seamlessly.

"The emerging software-driven network gains agility and flexibility by threading together several swarms of containers, virtualized and physical networks, abstracted resources and functions that are held together by data and intelligence for visibility, automated responses and monitoring tools for failure prevention, optimization and quality assurance. Containers help by bundling together interrelated components of a larger application and making them reusable for ever changing needs."

Containers For Open Networking
Container provide multiple benefits including being able to access and manage different types of networks and resources that are bundled together and can be reused in the future as the needs of a product or service change.

Containers Are Key
Time and feedback from clients will tell if the containers really provide smooth transition from dev to prod.

"Containers seek to smoothen the transition from development to production with continuous delivery methods with tools from Jenkins, Chef, Ansible Inc. , Docker and Mesosphere using a variety of plug-ins."
