Re: Cartoon Contest
The recent moves from Washington (relaxing of privacy rules, targeting net neutrality, reductions in rural funding, drastic moves to reduce educational funding, etc.) is not the path that leads to leadership.   As Adam Smith reminded us, even the invisible hand has to be guided.

Happy April @Dhagar as I join you in this optimistic view--although my optimism is tempered by the reality at hand.

Re: Cartoon Contest
@mpouraryan, the US CAN lead the way in a new version - vs. either/or - if it chooses.  That is the option I am voting for.

I do believe the rest of the world has stronger reason to develop their economies and win - and less incentive to preserve the jobs that we do.

Re: Cartoon Contest
@mpouraryan, I have a less pessimistic view to consider!

I fully agree that the loss of jobs has been due to automation and transformation of the industrial systems; but I see the future opportunities for automation to "augment" and validate the need for human intelligence to make the future systems work!

Glad you enjoyed it--the lessons learned should be embraced by all.   Whether that in fact happens is an open question--that's why we are here--right?

Re: Cartoon Contest
If only the Republican Majority in the US Congress understood it as I noted under separate cover.    The need to practice a sense of self-censorship is critical.   As I am "in community, just got a newsflash from NDTV in India as the Indian Prime Minister noted during Smart India Hackathon--we can't look to Government--we are critical in this.

As for Apple Specifically, I understand with the latest updates (I just updated my own iCLOUD yesterday), things are "Ok".    The old admonition, "Caveat Emptor", is ever so true today.

Re: Cartoon Contest
It is now, unfortunately, the law of the land here in the United States.    The talk by Congressman Keith Ellison of Minnesota was interesting in this regard.  Whether the World will follow the US lead is an open question.

Re: Cartoon Contest
Very gracious of you M"aam as always--but what is also important to note (as I eagerly await the results of this latest contest) is what was noted in the Washington Post--that is the implicit message that we all should take to heart (and many of you would probably tire of me saying it):
There is a jobs crisis brewing that the Trump administration should not ignore
Artificial intelligence will claim jobs sooner than the administration expects.
