Re: Millenial Males
@afwriter How interesting! You feel you must be working on many tasks in order to focus on one? I haven't heard of such a routine before :)

Re: Millenial Males
Haha the funny thing is that it is not that great, but part of that is because I am constantly working on multiple things at once. I find that if I have to focus on a single thing for too long I will pay less attention to it than if I were to multitasking.

I wholly agree. We'll she shifts in innovation, but plenty will stay the same for some time.

@Adi Billions!? I had no idea they were spending that kind of money on content. I suspect it was a lot -- new shows are launched regularly.

@Adi if anyone can get ahead of the curve, Netflix might be the right company to do it

Re: Millenniall Males
@elizabethv  As long as people are willing to buy and pay for cable and newspapers, which if you see them on the daily rack are very expensive (I was going to get a copy of a newspaper I saw this morning for a story I wanted to read and gasped when I noticed it was $2), they won't go away. For print newspapers, it's hard to believe they can remain in business when most of the advertising has gone online.

I agree! I know for me I don't need the latest, up to date devices.

Re: Millenniall Males
@srufolo1 - I don't think you'll find a much smaller percentage of any demographic that aren't paying for cable. It's still relevant, even if it's starting to phase out. Similar to printed newspapers like you pointed out. We've been seeing the signs that printed newspapers are on their way out for an extremely long time, but they still exist. We're seeing signs that cable TV is on its way out, but it will likely still exist for an a few decades to come - at least.

Makes sense
Looking at Millenial Males to see the direction cord cutting is going to take makes a lot of sense. They are the most likely to stay up-to-date where technology is concerned (women are far more likely to make concessions on their technology, so long as it does the job, they don't need the latest and great.) (some not all, I don't believe in absolutes.) And they are at the age range where they want the latest and greatest, not yet ready to become stuck in their ways. Streaming also offers them the advantage of remaining on the move, rather than being tied to any specific location, while still getting the entertainment needed to keep them connected. Take all of these into account and you have a recipe for someone who is going to want to be a cord cutter.
