Collaborate
I love seeing collaborations, ONF and ON.Lab. Partnerships are great and cannot benefit both companies and customers.

"ONF and ON.Lab, both of which announced late last year that they were combining their efforts into a single entity under the ONF brand."

Re: Well, it worked for IKEA
@JohnBarnes, good point. I hadn't thought of that. Just make a smaller niche version and make millions or even billions.

SDN
SDN adoption will be slow although the market wants us to believe otherwise.

ONF Opens Up Innovation Pipeline Progam
This is well written and explains how it will be greater with the ONF opening with innovation pipeine program. It will bring so much more to the table when it comes with verizion, ATT, and other service providers. The way the pipeline program sets off it will be great for technology.

Re: ONF Program
Yeah I don't think it's any surprise that this is taking longer than expected. I feel like at least most things do. But it'll be interesting to see when things will be up and running.

Well, it worked for IKEA
I.e. if you just come up with a small set of really great fastener-types for the pieces, and standardize those, then you can let hundreds or thousands of little shops design whatever they want as long as they agree to only use your fasteners. (And if you don't think IKEA came up with a small set of fastener-types, or particularly excellent ones, go look at older hand-built furniture to see what it used to be like).

Re: ONF Program
While we are seeing progress, I would have to agree that complexity is making this tougher than the marketing folks would like us to know.

Yes, SDN is going to be a game-changer. But that doesn't mean it's going to happen overnight like everyone thought it would. Quite the contrary, really.

Ilike how ONF wil be suing CORD frameworks as well API and dat models such as Google, Verizon etc They say that CORD uses new technologies at that will be useable and great for them.
