Re: OPNFV Plugfest
We need more of this type of event where commercial interests meet up with open source developers.

The big problem I see in technology today is that these two sides don't socialize as much as they should. Events like this can break down that barrier.

ETSI plugfest
Worth noting that ETSI recently wrapped up an NFV interoperability "plugtest." A lot of big name vendors were listed as taking part.

Re: OPNFV
@srufolo1 Yes, seemed like a natural addition to include the Hackfest in this Plugfest. Heather Kirksey said Hackfests help tighten the feedback loop, "foster collaboration across the ecosystem," and bring together the commercial product teams and community Dev teams.

Re: OPNFV Plugfest
I'm not sure if I could think of other companies that would be better than these three to head Plugfest. Interoperability is going to be huge in the future and it is exciting that we are starting to see it being tested.

OPNFV
These OPNFV Plugfests are a great collaboration effort for NFV.  The addition of a Hackfest is smart. Hopefully these will continue with great success.

OPNFV Plugfest
The three vendors for OPNFV are Huawei, Nokia and Lenovo hardware for plugins because those are large businesses that they can use for themselves.
