Re: AT&T: Foundries Spur Innovation Forward
@DHagar There are a number of companies trying this model, especially in the Bay Area.

One that comes to mind is Walmart Labs. It seems to me that its goal is to find new ideas and acquistion targets. Is that what AT&T hopes to acheive as well?

AT&T: Foundries Spur Innovation Forward
I leaned alot from this article about the new products and services, about the foundry program which celebrated its 5th anniversary this year. I honestly can't wait to see what the future brings the team that work to explore new technology. I also agree with the challenges to business sopving. I am also impressed with the knowledge they are going to present in 2020 about virtualization networks.

Re: Foundries Innovation Ideas
@dcawrey, I am with you on this.  AT&T should be commended for launching and sustaining The Foundry.  This infrastructure, DevOps support system, and collaboration for innovation gives them a true edge.  I predict it will keep them in front for years to come.

Re: Foundries Innovation Ideas
This is a great idea, and the fact it's been going for five years means there's some merit here. In startup world, five years is a lifetime.

I think it is really cool to have developers working closely on AT&T's network for next-generation products and services.

AT&T: Foundries
The "software bots" sound like another form of Artificial Intelligence. Virtualization is important, and it's great for AT&T that it's on track to deliver virtualization. Progress with the Internet of Things is also crucial. The Foundries is something AT&T will most likely expand from six locations to more.

Re: Foundries Innovation Ideas
I Don't know a lot about foundry, but it sounds like they are partially responsible for the influx of these amazing techologies that we are starting to see.
