Re: Telenor Research's Grønsund Discusses Cloud-Native VNFs
@dcawrey - great point - data residency requirements are increasingly complex and will have an impact across industries. They could affect adoption of cloud services moving forward, and governments will have to balance consumer privacy concerns and political issues with technology innovation and growth opportunities created by cloud technologies.

@dcawrey could not agree more as I see the same pattern - gov. restrictions should be considered important factor in this play...

@Itsmeshawn22 could not agree more, technology changing, but for any Co. it very important to get the wave in the right time and ride it... - how I see it... as when hypes dies - interest dies with it... everything must be in the right time...

Re: Telenor Research's Grønsund Discusses Cloud-Native VNFs
We're now in an age where cloud architecture needs to comply with regulations. I don't think I would have ever thought this would happen, but it has. What a different world we're living in - governments now want to work to make sure data is in specific geographic areas.

Re: Telenors VNF
I found this part interesting: "Cloud-native needs container technologies that are not ready yet for VNFs. We are doing research on cloud-native VNFs and work in labs." That indicates there is a whole area to explore for alternatives.

Telenors VNF
Telenor has over 211 million subscribers across the world and they have to come up with something for the VNF but I think that want be much of a problem.

Telenor Research's Grønsund Discusses Cloud-Native VNFs
I found this article very interesting and important because I didn't realize that the next big thing involved the NFV with cloud-native VNF's with the support of large services providers. It's interesting what the futures holds upon us. I enjoyed this conversation/interview with TT and PG it was very helpful and great for information both did a great job of asking/answering about the subject. I'm really looking forward to see what's the next big movement.
