I think in the long run it will be super helpful towards consumers and in the end that's all that really matters.

Truly a bit ignorant about this, so sorry if I'm asking the obvious ...
Is the issue with the volume of data itself, or is it what's entailed to access data that's held in the BSS/OSS? (Regulatory requirements or adjusting for proprietary systems, for example)

Telstra Network Virtualization
Telstra has a lot to offer with virtualization and they have to contine to stay on track and keep growing as they get to the year 2020 it should be more to offer.

It is great that Telstra can now provide virtualized VPNs that can be spun up or down based on customers' needs and an SD-WAN optimization service that can be provisioned in minutes instead of the previous nine-month time frame.

Complaints about OSS/BSS seem to fly thick and fast from service providers. The raw volume of data can't be an issue given the improvements in data processing capabilites that the big data revolution has overseen. It would be interesting to know what the real issue is with transitioning back office systems.
