Re: Netflix down a little
I didn't realize it had an offline viewing option for fheir streaming stuff - that's good to know! (I think the xfinity app lets users do that as well for some titles - it just takes forever to download!)

Re: Netflix down a little
@Ariella I think they've invested a lot in original programming as well, and they've got more aggressive with marketing & communication. They're also the only ones (I think) that allow downloads for offline viewing, which is quite handy if you take long flights, for example. Outside NA they've actually got a broader content library than Netflix, so all these things are adding up I think.

Only the beginning
This is only the begining of a 100 years war.  Netflix was the first, but other companies are trying so hard to "do what Netflix doesn't".  These stats are going to waver back and forth for decades to come.

It is important to not however that Redbox and Blockbuster have both tried and failed to rival Netflix's streaming service.

@Mike is that all it took, or was there something else involved as well?

Netflix down a little
So Netflix is down that may be a shock and of course they would out compete all the others because the others don't offer what they do.
