Big data as it increases in vales will have access to more data about us and more for us to use etc.

These types of grand, sweeping "predictions" make for good copy, and triple-digit billion-dollar markets get attention. It's kind of stating the obvious, with guessed-at numbers providing the hard evidence. But just as you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows, you don't need a gigantic and arbitrary number to prove that analytics will be a growing market over the next few years.

I agree. The key is turning all of that info into useful action items in a short amount of time. Lost of companies can collect data, but processing it into something meaningful will really unlock big data's potential.

This is so true. And it looks like enterprises are getting into right direction by relying great deal on history data to set targets and make projections irrespective of domain.
