Re: UK Trends
This really is a very interesting question. If you compare this to Google Fiber, where only about 2.5 million people currently have access (there are a number of cities in the process of getting access) to the 318 million people living in the United States, the percentage is ridiculously small. Whereas compartively, the percentage of people in the UK gaining access through Virgin Mobile, the percentage is more like 30%. Another interesting fact, about the cities that currently have access to Google Fiber is that all of those cities have a population smaller than 1 million. Most are actually less than 200,000. Which makes me wonder about the reasonings behind their decision to choose those particular cities.

Re: UK Trends
I second this thought.  I wonder if it has to do with our laws versus theirs or it is here and we just don't see/hear it as much.

I am still waiting for Google Fiber to become available in my area.

UK Trends
Interesting information.

There is no doubt to know all trending developments in UK market. Just out of curiosity looks like we get to hear a lot of developments from UK but not at a similar level from local US market. Not that I have complains about this but would be curious to know whether this is because US is clearly lacking in terms of evolution compared to UK? Appreciate any thoughts.

From the release: "The ultrafast broadband provider will connect fibre to the premise (FTTP) to at least a quarter of the 4 million additional homes and businesses being added to the Virgin Media network, as part of its 'Project Lightning' expansion plans."

The additional 1 million would bring it to what number currently? I'm curious as to how close it is to its target number for 2019.
