Re: Is Billing Behidn the TImes?
The march to progress has to continue--we can't rest on our laurels.     There are too many legacy systems out there and transformation has to be part of the long-term strategy.    For Small to Medium Sized Businesses, the online tools available are a step in the right direction with tools like ZOHO that will allow small business (and startups like me) to be able to streamline their finances.     The Sky's the limit--no question :))

Online payment is so much faster than requiring customers to call in or mail payments.

Is Billing Behidn the TImes?
Billing systems for smaller companies, smaller banks and credit unions need to be overhauled. Some companies do not provide the ability to pay bills online, while others take three to five days to process online payments.

Some companies do not allow multiple payments in the same day. Some companies do provide the options to make payments 24/7, i.e. payments cannot be made after 5:00pm.

Still others do not accept credit card or debit card payments.

The faster companies can process payments the happier customers will be and the faster companies can grow. The flow of money moves fast so companies need to update their processes to keep up the pace.
