Pimp Up Your Back Office
This is a totally obvious thing the billing systems really need to upgrade all the most import specs of the sytsems and it will be greZAt again like many of the other technologys out there. This is one good thing that it will bring back the total experience that they will produce and the many ways of the to improve such as the specs go.

Re: customer service
They definitely needs to be un upgrade in billing systems. But no matter what systems or processes are updated, companeis must retain a key competent of company success - providing exceptional customer service. Many big companies have lost this aspect of their businesses and as they have continued to grow they have lost customers. Once a customer leaves it is hard to get them back, except in rare cases when the new company povides worse service than the older company. :)

Provisioning
Customers are always going to need a helping hand with provisioning their services and hardware. That's why it was so smart for Apple to open Apple Stores and make that helping hand available to customers. All the other stuff will fall into line when the customer's initial needs seem to be met in a proactive way.
