Agreed Carol. This is definitely an exciting time for the industry -- there is more energy than I recall for quite a few years. I think there will be some casualites but I also think the benefits will outweigh the negatives. We'll see more efficiency and more agility in networks but also with the way companies do business.

Too much coffee - I didn't know there was such a thing for you!

I totally get your point, and yes, there are real threats here to the continued existence of those who don't get on board this transformation train. But I actually think we'll see the slow painful demise of those players.

yeah, agreed, but it's usually the upside that gets talked about 95% of the time.

Let's not forget there will be casualties and that the companies in this sector need to make sure they're moving now and surviving and not getting left behind.

Also, I may have had too much coffee at that point and got carried away....

I think we need to also talk about the upside here - the companies that will break free of their legacy operations to do great things for their companies and their customers.
