Pushed by the increased adoption of convergent billing systems, the demand for better customer care services and the growth of the telecommunications industry, the global OSS/BSS market is projected to grow by 12.70% CAGR from 2014 to 2020.
A report by Transparency Market Research said that while the global OSS/BSS revenues were valued at $21.8 billion in 2013 they would hit $49.8 billion by the end of 2020.
The report said that increased demand for convergent systems for managing the business and operations of the communication industry, along with a growing subscriber base in the wireless communication sector, were motivating network operators to adopt more advanced OSS/BSS solutions.
